Tips

Check often as we will feature a new tip each week: Many tournaments are turning to a 50/50 split with their hole in one contest i.e. if you offer a $25,000 cash prize, your organization could take half... essentially a nice donation on behalf of the winner. Just make sure up front that it is clear to all participants.

SMG Exhibits at the PGA Show 2012

We have just exhibited for the first time at the PGA Merchandise show in Orlando which turned out to be a very positive and exciting experience for us at SMG Golf. Most people who visited our booth were extremely complimentary of the uniqueness of the products that we introduced... Bunkerstamp and Cart Path Stamps. Both of these items are bound to leave a lasting impression in the minds of golfers.

An industry leader who represents Arnold Palmer said Bunkerstamp was `the best new product` he had seen at the show in many years.

Lucky Golfer Wins a Smart Car!

Congratulations to Rob MacMillan for sinking the 50 foot putt and winning a Smart Car!!! On August 4th, 2011 the “Smart Putting Contest” provided by SMG Golf was held at the Lachute Golf Club for the Voyage de Rêve Golf Fundraiser. After sinking the 15 foot qualifying putt, Mr. Macmillan’s name was picked to participate in the 50 foot putt to win a new Smart Car. Both skill and luck were on his side as the putt dropped into the hole. This exciting event was a great way to finish off a day of golf for both the tournament organizers and the players. Congrats Rob for this amazing win and we here at SMG Golf congratulate you and hope you enjoy your brand new car!
